GLENN HAY
Home: Miranda resident.
What inspired you to become a Bus Driver ? Peter inspired me 😂 i was ubering at the time
What do you enjoy most about your job ? Every day is different. And using many years of experience driving on the roads
Tell us about your most memorable moment on the road ? A bus load full of blokes to Terrigal for their end of year football presentations was a little daunting at first but all went well. Girls on race days all glammed up. Beautiful fun times / noisy.
Which type of trips do you enjoy the most ? Mostly the early trips, hitting the highway at 3-4 am. Kids and families are excited for their holidays. Also picking them up again to hear the stories. Some are talkative and some happy to find refuge in the quiet bus trip home.
Hobbies and interests outside of Driving ? Im a dad, a husband, a lifeguard member and a keen caravanner. Love exploring this great big land also have quite a big family and a busy life schedule.
A fun fact most people don’t know about you ? I’m a big guy. I do amaze people how quick i can move when needed to. Also for some reason mathematics comes easy to me, I’m usually the scorer at games’.
PIERRE (PETER BENDEICH)
Home: Engadine resident.
What inspired you to become a Bus Driver ? I had 3 decades of being a courier and Uber driver. Peter Berry picked up our group to go OPT, by the time we arrived he had virtually convinced me to be a driver.
What do you enjoy most about your job ? Meeting various people going to/from holidays and other places, and arranging with Lucy when I can / can’t work and listening to the problems/issues she encounters in her role.
Tell us about your most memorable moment on the road ? I love every day on the road so they are all memorable and when I share travel stories with passengers where we have both been.
Which type of trips do you enjoy the most ? Going to the South Coast / Central Coast or anywhere outside the metro area. Wine tours.
Hobbies and interests outside of Driving ? Golf, swimming, holidays in our caravan and overseas travel.
A fun fact most people don’t know about you ? I love golf courses and mowing my lawn.
PETER BERRY
Home: Woolooware resident.
About Peter: Peter has over 35 years driving experience. He is professional, friendly & reliable.
Interests: Spending time with family, Soccer, Travelling & Culture, Wine
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus job: Day Tours. Being the guide and driver for day tours such Shoalhaven Coast Wine Tour, Southern Highlands Wine Tours , Rainforest to the Sea Tour etc, Great to see our customers enjoying themselves at these wonderful locations.
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus Vehicle: Peter’s favourite bus is the latest 14 seater Toyota Commuter Bus. It’s a joy to drive and the back seats fold up allowing for approximately 8 luggage bags to be packed . This means we only need to attach on of our enclosed luggage trailers when the number of passengers are greater than 8.

What inspired you to become a Bus Driver ? Looking for extra work
What do you enjoy most about your job ? Meeting different people who (mostly) are happy cause they on Holidays, going to Weddings, races and just nights out
Tell us about your most memorable moment on the road ? Being cheered and clapped after midnight for getting a full wedding party home safely
Which type of trips do you enjoy the most ? I enjoy any trips, like to be busy so always on the go when driving
Hobbies and interests outside of Driving ? Love most sports, playing and watching
A fun fact most people don’t know about you ? Havent taken a sick day in 3 years!!!
