BARRY STONEHAM
Home: Sutherland resident.
About Barry: Barry has over 40 years driving experience. He is professional, reliable, friendly and accommodating.
Barry is the main driver for Shire Shuttle Bus and is the longest serving employee.
Barry can handle all types of jobs, from Airport, Cruise Ship transport to Races, Hens Nights, Weddings & Corporate group transfers.
Interests: Enjoys entertaining, long country drives and loves the Rabbitos
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus job: Barry likes a challenge and prefers his jobs to run one after the other. An ideal day for Barry is a busy day full of variety. Eg early morning drop off at the airport, then continue onto Overseas Passenger Terminal to collect passengers from the Cruise Ships , once back in the Shire collect group going to Randwick Races, after they are dropped off a few small transport jobs within the Shire prior to collecting race group from Randwick Races back to the Shire
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus Vehicle: Barry uses the latest bus in the fleet which is a Rosa Mitshubishi 25 seater. Barry prefers the larger buses as it provides a clearer view in traffic due to your higher seating position. The bus is usually parked outside his premises and the staff call the bus “Barry’s Bus”. The bus is always well maintained and clean. Barry would not have it any other way.
ROBERT MCFARLANE
Home: Sutherland resident.
About Robert: Robert has over 40 years driving experience. He is friendly & reliable.
Interests: Leadlight windows- making and repairing. Rugby League. Spending time with family
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus job: Early morning jobs to airport or cruise ships.
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus Vehicle: Rob mainly uses the Toyota Commuter 2002 Bus 14 seater for nearly all his jobs. Rob keeps the bus garaged at his home in Sutherland. Rob knows the working of this bus very well and keeps the bus well maintained with regular checks in oil, brake fluid and water.
KEN YABSLEY
Home: Cronulla resident
About Ken: Ken has over 40 years driving experience. He is friendly and accommodating.
Ken was the owner for 23 years of Turo Turo Asian Food located in Cronulla Street.
Interests: Movies , Walking & Travelling
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus job: Driving the scenic route to Domestic Airport , Overseas Passenger Terminal or White Bay Terminal via Brighton Le Sands
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus Vehicle: Ken uses the Hyundai Imax 9 seater for his jobs. He looks after the bus as if it was his own. Ken statement is “possession is 9 tenths of the law” when he refers to the ownership of the Hyundai. Good one Ken.
PETER BERRY
Home: Cronulla resident.
About Peter: Peter has over 35 years driving experience. He is professional, friendly & reliable.
Interests: Spending time with family, Soccer, Travelling & Culture, Wine
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus job: Day Tours. Being the guide and driver for day tours such Shoalhaven Coast Wine Tour, Southern Highlands Wine Tours , Rainforest to the Sea Tour etc, Great to see our customers enjoying themselves at these wonderful locations.
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus Vehicle: Peter’s favourite bus is the latest 14 seater Toyota Commuter Bus. It’s a joy to drive and the back seats fold up allowing for approximately 8 luggage bags to be packed . This means we only need to attach on of our enclosed luggage trailers when the number of passengers are greater than 8.
ROD HITCHENSON
Home: Bingara Gorge resident.
About Rod: Rod has over 40 years driving experience. He is professional, friendly & reliable.
Interests: Spending time with family. Golf . Rugby League-Dragons Horse Racing, Computers
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus job: Driving and organising a Golf group for a day out. Rod is the specialist when comes to Golf Tours.
Favourite Shire Shuttle Bus Vehicle: Rod uses is own 14 seater Toyota Commuter Bus. He keeps his bus well maintained and clean.
